Belgian is a £200m target for the Bernabeu giants but Blues will resist any offers before the European transfer window shuts
Maurizio Sarri says it will be impossible for Chelsea to sell Eden Hazard this month.
Hazard has been a £200million target for Real Madrid after they sold Cristiano Ronaldo.
And though he may face Huddersfield tomorrow in the Premier League opener, the fact the transfer window across Europe remains open for the rest of the month has led to fears Real will test Chelsea’s resolve with a late bid.
But Sarri said: “I think it’s impossible. It’s impossible because, here, the market is closed.
“We cannot change important players now, so I think it’s impossible.”
Sarri says he has spoken several times with Hazard since he returned from his post-World Cup holiday and is convinced the forward is happy at Stamford Bridge.
Hazard, 27, has two years left on his current deal and has so far refused to put pen to paper to commit his long term future to the club.
Sarri added: “Hazard is with us. I think, definitely. Not a problem.
“I have spoken with him three or four times for everything. He never said something about the market, so I think he’s very happy to stay here.
