The Spurs man has got everyone talking about his strange looking socks

Everyone is suitably underwhelmed that England are having to play in the World Cup third-place play-off.

The occasion is so much of a dead rubber, that Danny Rose’s socks are the most entertaining thing about the game.

The Spurs man, for some bizarre reason, appears to have cut several holes in his socks.

It literally looks like he’s found them in lost property.

Or maybe he has borrowed them off a homeless person?

There is some suggestion that it might have something to do with improving blood circulation to his legs.

If that is the case, then someone please just get the man a new pair of socks. A larger size.

Rose has found himself behind Ashley Young in the England pecking order, with only an injury to the Man United man forcing Gareth Southgate’s hand.

Maybe these bold fashion statements from Rose are the exact reason Southgate decided to drop him in the first place?

He doesn’t want anyone stealing his waistcoat thunder.
