GIANTS

Some of these guys make even Peter Crouch look small

Building the perfect team takes time, thought and strategy.

Training your players to reach their full potential is also essential.

However, one thing you can’t train is height/tallness/length, whatever you want to call it, some players obviously choose the wrong calling and were born to be in the NBA.

These lanky giants make a difference at both ends of the pitch, whether it’s destroying your opponents set piece in the box, coming out of nowhere to header the ball into the net or lazily covering the whole of the goal with their ridiculously long limbs.

Out of the top ten tallest players in FIFA 19, seven of them are goalkeepers…

So here’s a mixture of different football behemoths that you may be keen to know about:

Dino Hodzic

Height – 6’9″

Position – GK

Team – Vejle Boldklub

At 22, Croation Hodzic is one of only two players that are 6’9″ in FIFA 19, although his rating isn’t the best, he may be worth buying for the bench.

Tomas Holy

Height – 6’9″

Position – GK

Team – Gillingham

Another giant of the game coming in at 6’9″, Holy is a formidable opponent with a 63 rating and now plays for Gillingham having made 42 appearances.

Matt Casey

Height – 6’8″

Position – CB

Team – Portsmouth

A young British born lad who, at the age of 18 was signed to Portsmouth as a Centre back and has alot of potential for the future.

With a rating of 53, you might be hard pressed to find a spot for this chap though.

Aleksandar Vukotic

Height – 6’8″

Position – CB

Team – Waasland-Beveren

Known for his size and skill in defence, Serbian Vukotic has a staggering 75 Physical which, coupled with his height, makes him a formidable teammate.

Mathias Kristensen

Height – 6’7″

Position – ST

Team – Horsens

Kristensen plays for AC Horsens a professional Danish football team, playing in the Danish Superliga.

With a good shot power at 61 and won’t cost you an arm and a leg, plus he’s tall (obviously) which works in your favour when performing set pieces.

Peter Crouch

Height – 6’7″

Position – ST

Team – Stoke

As the best-rated tall man thus far, we all know that Peter Crouch defines what it means to be tall in the game that is football.

Currently playing for Stoke, Crouch would make a perfect addition to your Ultimate team or Career mode side, although he isn’t as young as he used to be.

And now an influx of ridiculously tall goalkeepers…

Andries Noppert

Height – 6’8″

Position – GK

Team – Foggia

Costel Pantilimon

Height – 6’8″

Position – GK

Team – Nott’m Forest

Aaron Chapman

Height – 6’8″

Position – GK

Team – Peterborough United

Vanja Milinkovic-Savic
